When you sail with this lemsteraak, you will probably get the question “is it a Blom-aak”? Yes it is! She owes her graceful lines to her designer: I Blom in the city Hindeloopen, one of the most famous shipyards for Lemsteraken ships.
The 11.2 m long ship is not only a fine sailor, she also offers a lot of living space inside and a spacious and cozy cockpit outside.
A wonderful family ship in top condition.
In the front are two cabins with – in each cabin – a spacious double bed. In the saloon, there are two spacious single beds to be created on the saloon sofas. The ship offers a lot of comfort including hot water and ventilation. In addition, it has a lot of storage space so that you are assured of a pleasant stay when you’re a group of 6 persons.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, 3 burner stove, oven and double sink: a wonderful place to cook together or to make small dishes.
The annual maintenance receives a lot of attention. For example, we have installed new and comfortable mattresses and pillows, the sleeping space in the saloon has been widened and an extra shower has been placed in the cockpit to rinse off after swimming and walking in the mudflats.
The ship is provided with plenty of useful and handy equipment. It has a chartplotter including compass and depth gauge in the steering column. The Dyneema cable steering ensures that you can steer lightly but directly via the steering wheel. The spacious cockpit makes the sheets, valuables and backstays easily accessible.
It also has rig winches and the mainsail is equipped for easy sailing. You can hoist the mainsail directly from the lazy jacks with the claw trap, but you can still trim with the peak trap. All in all it is a pleasure to trim this ship, perfect for a beautiful sailing experience.
With a draught of only 90 cm, the ship is ideal for drying out on the UNESCO Wadden sea mudflats, but also for the Frisian inland waterways. This ship can also be sailed without a license, but some experience is required.
All our ships meet the requirements of HISWA.
