The blokzijler Bol “de Verandering” is a sailing yacht that can accommodate 2 to a maximum of 5 people and is therefore a perfect family boat. It´s build at the famous shipyard Klop in Utrecht. With its 8,65-metre length, it is a manageable sailing ship for beginners in sailing flat bottom yachts. Due to the width of this schip it is still very spacious inside. There´s a cabin in the front with a double and 2 single beds. One additional person can sleep in the saloon on the bench.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, 2-burner alcohol stove and a sink.

The spacious saloon and large cockpit offer a significant amount of living space to its guests, ensuring a pleasant stay during the boating holiday. The Verandering – as all of our vessels – fulfills the HISWA prerequisites for rental boats.

Two day course

With this ship you can book a two-day course for 520 euros. You will learn everything about the ship and receive professional training to sail and maneuver the ship. You will also learn how to handle all technical issues on board.

The course takes place on the first rental day from 15.00 – 18.00 hours (3 hrs) and on the second rental day from 10.00 – 13.00 hours (3 hrs).

We offer a few of our larger Lemsteraak sailing yachts for charter including a skipper. This is intended for guests who have little or no experience with flat-bottomed sailing, but still wish to enjoy the special atmosphere on board these classic yachts.
The ‘hired’ skipper is able to navigate alone, using the engine. When sailing, this is a different story. The guests are expected to help to sail the yacht. Experience isn’t necessary, but is helpful!

We also offer an optional training course, to learn the basics of all aspects of flat-bottomed sailing.
