The lemsteraak de Graafstroom is a sailing yacht that can accommodate 5 to a maximum of 7 people and is therefore a perfect family boat. It´s build in 1997 at the famous Skipshelling I Blom in Hindeloopen. With its 10,50-metre length, it is a manageable sailing ship. Duet o the very clever layout it is equipped with a owner-cabin a shower and toilet and 3 more bunks in the front part. Two additional people can sleep in the saloon on the benches.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, 3-burner gas stove, oven and sink; a wonderful place in which to cook together, or to prepare small dishes.
The spacious saloon and large cockpit offer a significant amount of living space to its guests, ensuring a pleasant stay during the boating holiday. The Graafstroom is one of our vessels equipped with the “easy sailing” rigg, which means that it´s equipped with a furler system on the jib sail and a lazy jack on the main sail.

We offer a few of our larger Lemsteraak sailing yachts for charter including a skipper. This is intended for guests who have little or no experience with flat-bottomed sailing, but still wish to enjoy the special atmosphere on board these classic yachts.
The ‘hired’ skipper is able to navigate alone, using the engine. When sailing, this is a different story. The guests are expected to help to sail the yacht. Experience isn’t necessary, but is helpful!

We also offer an optional training course, to learn the basics of all aspects of flat-bottomed sailing.
