Lemsteraak Ybeltje, one of our smallest Lemsteraak sailing boats with deckhouse, is great for sailing holidays. The vessel was newly built as a manageable family boat, designed by Andre Hoek. It has a comfortable interior, is able to accommodate a maximum of 7 people, has a kitchen integrated into the saloon, with a 3-burner hob, oven and refrigerator, large chart table and a U-shaped seating area with table.

There are 4 fixed beds in the forward cabin, comprising a double bed and two single beds. With a draught of just 85 cm, the ship lends itself perfectly to berthing on the mud flat, but is also perfect for the Frisian inland waterways. This vessel can also be sailed without a formal sailing license, but does require experience. All of our vessels fulfill the technical requirements laid down by the HISWA (the industry trade group for the Dutch water sports business).

Two-day course

With this ship you can book a two-day course of 520 euros. You will learn everything about the ship and receive professional training to sail and maneuver the ship. You will also learn how to deal with all technical matters on board.

The course takes place on the first rental day from 13.00 – 19.00 hours and on the second rental day from 10.00 – 17.00 hours.

We offer a few of our larger Lemsteraak sailing yachts for charter including a skipper. This is intended for guests who have little or no experience with flat-bottomed sailing, but still wish to enjoy the special atmosphere on board these classic yachts.
The ‘hired’ skipper is able to navigate alone, using the engine. When sailing, this is a different story. The guests are expected to help to sail the yacht. Experience isn’t necessary, but is helpful!

We also offer an optional training course, to learn the basics of all aspects of flat-bottomed sailing.
